24/25 MAY 2008 GOLD CUP S.A.T.

Those were beautiful days, on a very important and well organized event, with so many people. There were many dogs in competition, of about 180 per day. This year I participated enthusiastic because I had new dogs in my breeding and I wanted everyone to see them. Another important fact was that this year there was a new president, Milena Polloni, and everything went fine. She is a very serious person always ready to listen to everyone's problems, to give indications to all in a very serious manner. Who better than her to be the president of S.A.T.? Than there was our friend Pino Pascale, with our great friend Mimmo, who came from Calabria on Friday to spend a day with us, to be present at the Golden Cup, to see all my new dogs and also see friends they haven't seen in years. Our friend Michele Colombini, always helpful, placed us on Friday night in first line. On these two days we finally had the opportunity to speak to so many people, many breeding owners, Spanish, French…

Many people were impressed by our new dogs… Kyra, Lola, Balou. We met Voltaire, Lola's father; we took pictures; also met Louis with Kyra's brother, Kooper; Loredana and Giorgio, very nice people; met Kyra's father Brandon, and so many others. The most exciting thing for us was to see our dogs on their first exhibition. The puppies were splendid. Balou, a dog with an impressive character and temperament still has to learn how to behave in the ring but anyway he got on both days the 4 th and the 5 th place, respectively. Kyra, beautiful puppy always got the first place till she won BEST BABY GOLD CUP 2008. Lola, on the first day got the 4 th place but on the second day, as she was not felling very well and did not want to walk in front of people, did not got any good results but a kiss and the toy that was given to Kyra for her victory as BEST BABY. A great satisfaction was for us also to see Golia of our friends Alessio and Laura winning on intermediate class on both days. Alessio really deserved this victory. Our friend Michele Colombini astonished everyone with Black Cloud Marlon Brando when on Saturday he won almost every prize. Than Manuela, who I was informing about the results through SMS seemed like she was there with us. I was excited telling her all the results, to each category. I got congratulation e-mails from USA , Spain , Poland , Germany , and this is very important for us.

I would like to thank to my husband Domenico, handler of Bessy and Lola; to Marco Bielli, handler of Balou and of the little champion Kyra; Milena for taking care of my dog's appearance; Pino Pascale who gave me a hand with the dogs, Michele Colombini who placed me well, all our friend that were present, Leonardo and his wife, Alessio and Laura, Sergio Remedi for cakes and sparkling wine, and to all our friend I did not mention. A special Thanks to Manuela Streicher who gave me two beautiful dogs.

Thanks to all my friend and finally I'd like to say that this was the most beautiful GOLD CUP I have ever participated to.

11/03/2008 A special thanks to Milena Polloni, ALL. THICKISH NEWFOUNDLAND for her availability to take care of my dog's appearance in an extraordinary way. She is a special, patient, precise and competent person. She means a lot to me because now I understand the significance of breeding owners' collaboration. I understand that now, in 2008. Only now I have realized how important are some persons that I know and how many doors are open to me… For me, the year 2008 is significant because I've started learning how to appreciate many things in this world of breeding owners, like the collaboration with each other.

It took me a while, but now I'm there, I've realized it.

08/03/08 LETTER TO  FEARLESS BEAR'S ZABOR ALWAYS IN YOUR MIND (ZABOR)

Today I saw you again…in your house with your gorgeous family, with Manuela and Helmut and your newfs friends…My thoughts turn to some years ago to Marina di Pisa, at the seaside. Together we had spent a lovely day, where you, beautiful newf, proved your bravery doing your job in the water, making rescue exercises with me and you have shown an extraordinary temperament and have proved to be a fast learner. You're not only a beautiful champion but you are also a rescue champion. From that moment I have always dreamt of having a dog just like you, with your knowledge. Today, Manuela, so kindly, offered me your son Balou, which is so much like you. Dear Zabor, having seen you again today and having spent some time with you was wonderful. I was so excited saying hello to you!!! Goodbye Zabor. If I could talk to you I would say ...that you don't have to worry about your son Balou because he is with me and Lucina, and that he will be ok, we'll treat him like a son. We hope that he won't fail our expectations in the exposition, but if this happens you should know that we'll always love your beautiful son. I love you Zabor. See you again soon, Domenico.

08/03/08 I'd like to tell you about my journey in Austria ……

The 8 th of March, women's day. What better day to go to her, to take her with me… It is women's day. We leave for Austria , and it will be a long journey. It's exciting thinking that I will meet the No.1 of the breeding owners. I have always admired her and aspired to have dogs with “noble blood” from her, but… This day is an important one for me, I'll bring home with me KYRA KEEP THE PROMISE FOR SHADOW'S ETERNITY (daughter of Bonadea and Brendon) and I will maintain my promise to Shadow's Eternity. I will be faithful to Shadow's Eternity (son of Zabor and Kandy ). This day is important for me because of these two dogs that Manuela gives me. From this day on there will be many changes in my breeding, I've made a commitment that I intend keeping proudly. I will do my best to thank Manuela for this lovely and happy day that I spent with her and her wonderful newfs and I also thank Paolo Bosina (Paradiso Newfs) that had reached us in Austria coming from Poland with little NORKROS ICE LOLLY AT NEWFOUNDLAND HILLS (Thanks to Tiziana who remained at home for 4 days without Paolo). Together we have spent the afternoon with Manuela and Helmut that are two lovely persons. I sincerely thank all my friends from the heart. A special thanks is for my husband which cherishes this passion with me, involving himself with love for this breed trying as well as I do to raise NEWFOUNDLAND HILLS  (le colline dei Terranova) and I'm certain that with the help of some breeding owners that are our friends, together with my husband we will make it.
